Welcome to Beachfyre!

Beachfyre Fall Dedication

E-mail Print PDF
Beachfyre enjoyed a wonderful dedication ceremony Sunday.  We added another dedication this year in order to bring two new members into our group, as the timing was right for us all.  It was a warm evening of great company, food, and sharing of our goals or ourselves and our group.  We will continue our annual Imbolc dedications as our main opportunity for accepting new members and sharing our commitment to each other and the group. In the meantime, though, we are blessed to have new folks join the Beachfyre family!

Beachfyre Dedication

E-mail Print PDF
Each year at Imbolc, Beachfyre holds a dedication ceremony for continuing and incoming members.  The ceremony is different than initiaiton or advancement in degrees of training in a Wiccan tradition.  It is a way to remake the group each year, bring in new members, dedicate ourselves to each other and the Craft, and share our individual and group goals for the coming year.  Dedicated members make it a high priority to attend Beachfyre Sabbats, moons, and events, as well as sharing in the responsibilities for planning and leading those ceremonies.  Because of the purpose of this ceremony, Beachfyre's Imbolc celebration is not open to guests, although we look forward to seeing ongoing and new guests again soon!

About Beachfyre

E-mail Print PDF

Beachfyre Coven draws from an eclectic ocean of inspiration and experience.

We worship the God and Goddess within and without, and dedicate ourselves to an ongoing process of magickal transformation.

We are tropical Witches living in south Florida and learn from the dance of rains and winds that mark the seasons here, as well as from the myriad peoples who have brought magick to this place.

We are family orientated and a member of the Everglades Moon Local Council of the Covenant of the Goddess.

Our group's leaders have a background in the Georgian tradition of Wicca, and our group's practice draws on the Georgian tradition.  Training in the Georgian tradition may be available to Beachfyre members, varying with the coven, community, and life demands on our leaders and members.
