Welcome to Beachfyre!

Beachfyre In The Community

E-mail Print PDF

Beachfyre Coven and its members are very active in the Pagan/Wiccan community, boith locally and on a national scale.  Our members have held national offices with Covenant of the Goddess and helped found and maintain its Florida branch, the Everglades Moon Local Council.  Our members also volunteer for Cherry Hill Seminary, help run the South Miami Wiccan & Pagan Meetup group, and have literally made the news by founding and running the Florida branch of the Pagan Newswire Collective.  We usually host a few open sabbats a year, as well, which has been a great way to strengthen our ties to the local community and serve those who don't have a home circle to celebrate with.  We welcome interest and contact, although we're not actively looking to expand our membership.

About Beachfyre

E-mail Print PDF

Beachfyre Coven draws from an eclectic ocean of inspiration and experience.

We worship the God and Goddess within and without, and dedicate ourselves to an ongoing process of magickal transformation.

We are tropical Witches living in south Florida and learn from the dance of rains and winds that mark the seasons here, as well as from the myriad peoples who have brought magick to this place.

We are family orientated and a member of the Everglades Moon Local Council of the Covenant of the Goddess.

Our group's leaders have a background in the Georgian tradition of Wicca, and our group's practice draws on the Georgian tradition.  Training in the Georgian tradition may be available to Beachfyre members, varying with the coven, community, and life demands on our leaders and members.
